The Center for Managed Technology Services (CMTS) delivers managed technology services that support research across Texas A&M AgriLife. Our team is organized by service area so it is easy to understand who does what and who owns each function.

Tim Ramsey
Director
Founding Director of CMTS with over 25 years of IT experience. Leads cost-recovery managed technology services and serves as Director of IT for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.

Angel Salinas
Assistant Director of Operations, CMTS
Cultivates strategic partnerships and fosters relationships with stakeholders to enhance managed IT services. Over 15 years of experience in business operations with BRMP and ITIL 4 certifications.

Barry Stratta
Software & Applications Manager
IT Manager IV with over thirty years of experience managing large-scale IT projects. BRMP and ITIL 4 certified with extensive expertise in project management and process optimization.

Krista DeVries
Platforms & Infrastructure Manager
IT Manager providing strategic leadership over systems engineering and cybersecurity. Over a decade of experience in IT support, systems administration, and project coordination.

DevOps Engineer II supporting cloud and platform operations across Texas A&M AgriLife. Delivers automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure engineering that strengthen reliability, security, and scalability of research and enterprise systems. Contributes cloud expertise, systems administration, and standardsโaligned DevOps practices to ensure resilient, compliant, and maintainable platforms.

Security engineer supporting the cybersecurity policy and critical vulnerability monitoring for CMTS. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a dual minor in Cybersecurity and Mathematics from Texas A&M University.
